ANRI Bonzo
ANRI Bonzo
Oct 25
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted.
It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster.
Nothing bad, just life being different lately with different priorities.
Details on that to come at a later date.
Right now it’s time to get caught up.
Here’s a restoration I did a while ago.
This is a rare ANRI Articulated Bonzo Dog.
It needed an ear fixed and the articulation restored.
Lots of work went into this small piece.
Here are some pictures with the ear fixed and the articulation working like it should.
This was a fun piece to work on and it came out great!
The owner was thrilled with the restoration and happy to be able to proudly put the piece on display now.

Here’s a nice ANRI Rooster that came into the shop recently.
The comb had an old repair that needed redone and the comb was also missing some tips.
I also noticed the beak was separated from the piece. So that got fixed while it was here too.
Here are a few pictures of the piece repaired:
The repairs all blended in well and it came out great.
The piece really pops with a light restore on the finish and a couple coats of wax.

This is a rare ANRI Elephant.
It came in missing a lot of paint on the trunk.
The color and original patina need to be matched perfectly to ensure the piece’s authenticity isn’t compromised.
This was a fun piece to restore and it came out great!
3d Printed Nautilus
3d Printed Nautilus
Nov 10
Found a great model of the Nautilus from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea on Thingiverse.
Decided to make this one for myself.
Printed out all the parts on my Monoprice Select v2 3d printer.
Joined and smoothed all the parts.
A couple pictures of it done.
It’s a little over 17 inches long from nose to tail.
Aaaand of course I added LEDs so it lights up.
This model came out great and looks right at home on the mantle with our other Disney collectibles.
Man in the Moon
Man in the Moon
Nov 02
Here is a great example of one of my favorite nutcrackers.
I have yet to own one so I’m really excited when one comes through the shop.
This Man in the Moon came in with some chips around the mouth and the ends missing/broken off.
Here’s a quick pic of it with fresh new Mahogany in place waiting to be carved and blended.
Here are a couple pics of it all fixed up and looking great!
