Ok, maybe this isn’t formally called an Evil Mad Scientist, but that’s what it was called while here at the shop.
This great piece came in from the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum with a couple chips (hair) and needing the eyeglasses re-repaired.
Here are a couple pic’s of the piece all fixed and ready to be put on display at the museum:
I’ve never seen one of these and really enjoyed restoring it!

Here’s a really nice ANRI Indian that was sent in for repairs by The Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum.
The piece had some damage to the mouth.
It also had what appeared to be nail polish spilled on the rear lever.
Here are some pictures of the piece repaired and with the nail polish carefully removed:
This piece really came out great and was a lot of fun to restore.

Here’s a nice ANRI Rabbit from quite a while ago.
It came into the shop dried out and really dark.
I was able to restore the colors and finish.
The restoration work really brought this great piece back to life.
Happy Easter!!!!

Here’s another really great screw type Nutcracker.
This one came in with damage to the face and missing both arms.
Lots of research and work went into restoring this piece.
This is a great piece and the customer was very happy with how well it came out.
